HDMI signal faces two challenges in professional AV installations: the cable runs are long, and the signal is often patched through an AV faceplate. Long cables weaken the signal as it passes through, and faceplates introduce joins which also weaken signal. Add to this some laptops output a weak signal, and some displays are more sensitive to weak incoming signal. 

Vision's 8K cables are designed for exactly these hostile conditions. They have thick conductors so there is no bandwidth bottleneck, and they are well shielded. If you join 8K cables together the maximum resolution will drop below 8K, but you will have the best possible change of achieving 4K @ 60 Hz resolution - the target resolution for most AV installations.
